The Board of County Commissioners, Manatee County has received Federal financial assistance from the DOT, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, the County has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program for Fiscal Years 2017 – 2019

Pursuant to 49 CFR Part 26, all interested parties are hereby advised that Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) is proposing to establish a three-year goal for Fiscal Years 2017-2019 for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funded projects; and this proposed goal is 0.7% per year. Information on the methodology utilized to develop the DBE goal is available for inspection during normal business hours, Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at MCAT, 1108 26th Avenue East, Bradenton, FL 34208. Written comments are accepted for 45 days after the publication of this notice and should be mailed to MCAT, 1108 26th Avenue East, Bradenton, FL 34208, Attention: DBE Goal.
